Michael Vick is a really hot topic in Philly sports. So hot, he’s virtually knocked the first place Phillies out the conversation on the sports talk radio station of your choice. Everyone has their opinion. I have mine as well but despite any personal feelings I have, Vick went out there and played one hell of a game today against the Detroit Lions throwing for 284 yards and rushing for 37. He also threw two touchdown passes: one to Desean Jackson, the other to Jeremy Maclin.

The player of the game for me had to be LeSean McCoy, looking every bit as good as a young Brian Westbrook. He ran for 120 yards and scored 3 touchdowns. Read more

Like everyone else, including himself, I was not impressed with Kevin Kolb’s season debut. This morning I woke up to a ton of bloggers, twitters, radio call ins, falling just shy of calling his career a failure.

My opinion is I just haven’t seen enough. Who knows what would happen if he didn’t have an offensive line that set him up to get slaughtered like he did. He has to come into his own this season, that’s for sure. Michael Vick didn’t make things any better having a stellar 2nd half and then saying the team would have won had he started. So much for not having a QB controversy this season. Read more

Eagles released the 2010 upcoming Training Camp Schedule, which includes notation of autograph days for specific positions.

According to Philadelphia Eagles website: *Autographs take place after the morning practice. There are a limited amount of tickets available for the autograph sessions. Numbered tickets are handed out to fans upon arrival to training camp and only tickets with certain predetermined numbers will receive autographs on that day.

LAS VEGAS — The 2-year-old son of former NFL quarterback Randall Cunningham drowned in a hot tub in Las Vegas.

Las Vegas police report the boy was found floating in the hot tub at Cunningham’s home.

A woman at the home pulled the boy out and tried CPR. Paramedics rushed him to St. Rose Dominican Hospital, where he died. Read more
