GINO’S STAKES: Eagles must sink Delusional Donovan rumor

No Comments Eagles

Everyone has a friend like Donovan McNabb.

He’s the guy who bathes in Axe body spray before going to the bar, and urges everyone to tell him how good he smells.

He’s the guy who wears white socks with dress shoes, then questions the sexuality of his friends when he’s called out for it.

Delusional.

The unshakeable belief in falsity.

McNabb is the guy who despite being dropped off at the retirement center by two teams in the span of one season, still doesn’t believe his own deterioration.

During an interview last Wednesday on the NFL Network’s Super Bowl Live, Philly’s favorite Rudy issued his latest sound byte.

Dead meat Eagles’ latest woes simply leftover turkey

The Seahawks were in the holiday spirit early, as last night they presented the beleaguered city of Philadelphia with the joy of a second Thanksgiving.

Birds are officially cooked and on the table, folks.

Put a fork in ‘em.

In a battle of the 4-7′s, it took an opening scoring drive by Marshawn Lynch and the Seattle Seahawks to make viewers wonder if the Eagles defense switched jerseys with the Colts defense while on a lay over in Indianapolis.

Luckily for the Patriots, they had Andy Reid on defense.

Shady’s Steel Curtain.

No Comments College, Eagles

If you are in the majority of people who say the Eagles defense is the worst in the commonwealth of Pennsylvania, then you are the minority who skipped the Jerry Sandusky interview.

On NBC’s Monday night news magazine, Rock Center, Bob Costas got the disposed, former Penn State assistant coach, on the phone to answer questions about the 40 count indictment against him for an assortment of sex crimes against young boys.

If Sandusky’s idea was, in fact, to appease those who’s opinions have stayed reserved for the legal process, he did one hell of a job convincing them he’s actually guilty until proven innocent.

Move over hippies, here comes the Occupy Andy, 99 percenters

1 Comment Eagles, NFL

As soon as the Eagles’ latest nose dive spiraled into the Linc’s trampled Sunday grass, the 1 percenters of the Occupy Philly movement cordially began making room in their disheveled tent city for the 99 percenters of the Occupy Andy movement marching in from South Philly.

They hurried each other through packing and unpacking of personal belongings, as large vacant areas turned up faster than a blink. Not even the threat of National Guard soldiers donned in riot gear could cause such a frightening shiver than the group of protesters that were on their way to set up shop and stake their claim.

What else were those fetid hippies to do but make way for the original pains in the asses of Philadelphia?
